Todei is Saturrdei

My last post using the title "todei is ..." post, well all I can tell you is that it won't be a long post. Like the previous weekends, this weekends seems like a relaxing weekend for me. Assignments are piling up. Notes for the academic writing and all the important points that I needed to include in the presentation were already done last week. So no more worries about the academic writing's article for now. Currently focusing on the summary of pragmatic's assignment. It's really hard to focus!! All of a sudden, staring at the wall seems interesting rather than doing the assignment.

Can't wait to read this book!!!

Todei is Fraidei

I almost forgot to update my blog today. It seems that I didn't really do anything much today. So yeah, no lame tales of my everyday life to tell though.

Todei is Tersdei

Technical writing class starts at 8.30am and ended at 10.30am. After that Dr.Cynthia assigned us with a task which will be graded. The task was for us to pick 2 of the concept in pragmatics and explained it in details. We were allowed to discuss among ourselves but we were not allowed to refer to any notes. In the end I think all of us managed to completed and submitted our work without any problems.

The courage to say 'No'

The photo was taken in Hamburg in 1936, during the celebrations for the launch of a ship. In the crowd, one person refuses to raise his arm to give the Nazi salute. The man was August Landmesser. He had already been in trouble with the authorities, having been sentenced to two years hard labor for marrying a Jewish woman.

Class starts at 8.30am -> Ended at 12.30pm -> Another class starts at 12.30pm -> Ended at 2.30pm -> At 3pm I went to grab a bite to eat -> Slept like a baby from 3.30-7pm.

So yeah, that's basically it about my day. Oh yeah, by the way, today I accidentally met a friend of mine from high school. It turned out that he's living on the same level and on the same block as I am here in Perindu College. The last time I met him was during our final day of SPM.

Todei is Tiusdei

I'm not going to lie, like Dr.Cynthia always said be honest, therefore I'm just going to say that it's quite hard for me to update this blog daily. I don't really know what to write most of the time. Why? Because my daily routine is almost the same every single day. Being said this, it's not like I'm going to abandon this blog totally and all. For the sake of 20% marks, I'll try my best to push myself to update my blog daily. 

So yeah, anything interesting about today? Pragmatics test which sort of like a group test turned out to be quite better than I expected. In fact, it turned out to be quite fun. All of my group members were sensational. Credits to Farris, Intan, Aisyah, Syafiqah(Ieka), Zahrah (Bobo), and Iffah. 

As always, something to ponder upon.

Todei is Mandei

Well, at least today I have something to do rather just sit around and do nothing. Class started at 8.30am as usual. We learned something about organizational chart. Some part was quite boring and some was quite interesting. Class finished around 10.30am and then I went back to my room in Perindu College. Stayed there till 12 and then just when I decided to take a short nap, I received this text message "Salam, Dr.Paramjeet wanted to meet all of us at 12.30pm till 1.30pm in lab4 menara lvl 9 because she needs to attend some kind of taklimat at 2pm. Please be there on time. Thank you." So yeah, i quickly wash my face and put on my shirt and started to walk to menara. The weather nowadays is really hot! By the time I arrived at menara i was sweating a little.

Then the class ended at 1.30 and went to grab a bite to eat. Safely arrived at my room then at 3 i slept till 7. So yeah, that's basically it about my day. Now I'm studying a little bit about pragmatics.

Saw this picture earlier. Someday when I have a house on my own I would definately have a private library with lots of books in it. Perhaps a replica of the library above. Why not?
