My last post using the title "todei is ..." post, well all I can tell you is that it won't be a long post. Like the previous weekends, this weekends seems like a relaxing weekend for me. Assignments are piling up. Notes for the academic writing and all the important points that I needed to include in the presentation were already done last week. So no more worries about the academic writing's article for now. Currently focusing on the summary of pragmatic's assignment. It's really hard to focus!! All of a sudden, staring at the wall seems interesting rather than doing the assignment.

Can't wait to read this book!!!

I almost forgot to update my blog today. It seems that I didn't really do anything much today. So yeah, no lame tales of my everyday life to tell though.

Todei is Tersdei

Technical writing class starts at 8.30am and ended at 10.30am. After that Dr.Cynthia assigned us with a task which will be graded. The task was for us to pick 2 of the concept in pragmatics and explained it in details. We were allowed to discuss among ourselves but we were not allowed to refer to any notes. In the end I think all of us managed to completed and submitted our work without any problems.

The courage to say 'No'

Class starts at 8.30am -> Ended at 12.30pm -> Another class starts at 12.30pm -> Ended at 2.30pm -> At 3pm I went to grab a bite to eat -> Slept like a baby from 3.30-7pm.

So yeah, that's basically it about my day. Oh yeah, by the way, today I accidentally met a friend of mine from high school. It turned out that he's living on the same level and on the same block as I am here in Perindu College. The last time I met him was during our final day of SPM.

Todei is Tiusdei

I'm not going to lie, like Dr.Cynthia always said be honest, therefore I'm just going to say that it's quite hard for me to update this blog daily. I don't really know what to write most of the time. Why? Because my daily routine is almost the same every single day. Being said this, it's not like I'm going to abandon this blog totally and all. For the sake of 20% marks, I'll try my best to push myself to update my blog daily. 

So yeah, anything interesting about today? Pragmatics test which sort of like a group test turned out to be quite better than I expected. In fact, it turned out to be quite fun. All of my group members were sensational. Credits to Farris, Intan, Aisyah, Syafiqah(Ieka), Zahrah (Bobo), and Iffah. 

As always, something to ponder upon.

Todei is Mandei

Well, at least today I have something to do rather just sit around and do nothing. Class started at 8.30am as usual. We learned something about organizational chart. Some part was quite boring and some was quite interesting. Class finished around 10.30am and then I went back to my room in Perindu College. Stayed there till 12 and then just when I decided to take a short nap, I received this text message "Salam, Dr.Paramjeet wanted to meet all of us at 12.30pm till 1.30pm in lab4 menara lvl 9 because she needs to attend some kind of taklimat at 2pm. Please be there on time. Thank you." So yeah, i quickly wash my face and put on my shirt and started to walk to menara. The weather nowadays is really hot! By the time I arrived at menara i was sweating a little.

Then the class ended at 1.30 and went to grab a bite to eat. Safely arrived at my room then at 3 i slept till 7. So yeah, that's basically it about my day. Now I'm studying a little bit about pragmatics.

Saw this picture earlier. Someday when I have a house on my own I would definately have a private library with lots of books in it. Perhaps a replica of the library above. Why not?

Todei is Sandei

Today is Sunday, which means that I'm back here in Perindu College. Assignments are piling up but then I'm still not in the mood for doing any of them (yet). I've tried to force myself to read more about press release but I guess my brain just not that into the whole press release thingy.haihhh. 

When someone tries to talk to me when I'm trying to study, I ended up being like Peter Griffin here. 

I tend to get carried away by the conversation though. Total damnation!

Splash of Color

Good evening, as always I don't have anything interesting to share today. Woke up at 6.15am to perform my subuh prayer and went back to sleep after that. Woke up at 10am this morning. Then at 3, I drove my mum,dad and older brother to Kajang and ended up staying there till 6pm. So practically that's it about my day. It is quite boring isn't it?

Manage to find one(1) sign though that Dr.Cynthia asked us to find that can relate to pragmatics. She asked us to find five(5) but so far I only managed to find one.haihhhh.

Oh and by the way, saw this picture earlier :

Other people might see it as a scary, painful, or even weird piece of art. But I somehow see it as some sort of a hard and painful beginning in order to achieve a colorful yet beautiful ending. In simple words, sometimes you will have to struggle in the beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hey, at least this picture makes you think about the hidden meaning and exercises your brain on the weekend right? 

Sleeping

Err, honestly I'm not quite sure about what to write in my blog today since I spent half of my day sleeping though. Woke up as usual at 6.15am to performed the subuh prayer and then went back to sleep. Then woke up again at 8am to get ready to service my Myvi and ended up staying at the Perodua service centre till 12pm. It took quite a long time for me to get my car to be service because I totally forgot to make an appointment beforehand. I had to gambled my chances and wait a little longer though. Then after finished servicing my car, I had to wait for my mum who was buying lunch at that time, I had to pick up my younger brother from his school at 12.30pm but I reached him at 1pm. I reached home just in time to perform the Friday prayer.

After completing my friday prayer, I slept like a baby for the rest of the day.

Well, now it's 10.10pm and i'm sitting in from of the TV and the pragmatics book and the scholarly article in my hand. Mission for tonight, read and try to understand at least 3 chapters in the pragmatics book and read the scholarly article.

The result so far : The book is open right in front of me but my eyes are glued to the TV.

Carelessness

Carelessness
4x losing my wallet
1x losing my laptop
1x forgot to take my large luggage
1x losing my phone.
1x losing my celcom broadband
1x losing the keys to my room at Perindu College
1x losing the keys to my locker at Perindu College

So yeah, I'm clumsy, really careless and a forgetful person when it comes to remembering things.
- So far the things that I can't managed to get back were my celcom broadband,     both the keys to my room and locker (which i managed to unlocked it using           a paperclip).

My reaction when I found out my friend found my laptop.

Today is Thursday, which means usually today like any other Thursdays like the previous weeks, LG2204C would have classes till 12.30pm and then we're free to do anything that we like for the rest of the day. But today our classes supposedly starts at 10am but somehow our Pragmatics lecturer, Dr.Cynthia came in late because she needed to attend to certain matter. So therefore,class starts at 11 rather than 10am.

Pragmatics
When I was a semester one (1) student initially when I first heard about pragmatics my knowledge on that subject would be "Oh,pragmatics is easy,it is basically how we captured and interpreted the information that the other person is telling us". Basically I was right,but in depth about pragmatics, I was totally wrong. Pragmatics consists of many elements that we need to view before simply saying "It is easy". I think perhaps later when I have studied fully focus on learning pragmatics then and only then will i be able to define,explain and give a better picture of how complex yet interesting this subject really is. Therefore I'm not going to explain in details right now.

Well this is my simple introduction about myself. Nothing much to be said actually since this is my third week for this fourth (4th) semester. A lot can be said about my past semesters and I can go on and on and on about it. But i'm not going to tell you about that (unless i'm being told to do so).

So far,this semester (4st semester) is going smoothly but i'm sure sooner or later it will get pretty hectic though.

Resolution for this sem: Do Not Procrastinate.
The results so far in this third week : Not looking too good.
